A little bit about us...we are Aggies, Class of '78 and '76, and our children are Aggies who married Aggies. We have lived in Houston, Austin, Livingston, Lafayette, LA, Atlanta, GA and recently spent 20 years in Louisville, KY. We are thrilled to be back in Aggieland! Bob is a retired health care finance guy who has now become a POP, a Professor of Practice at Texas A&M University. He shares his extensive real world knowledge of health care finance with Masters level students. Denise is a retired neonatal occupational therapist. We have stayed in B&Bs for most of our married life so this is our "dream occupation."
Our greeters and funny, furry companions are Booker Noe and Echo, both labradoodles. Booker is named after one of our favorite Kentucky bourbon distillers. Echo is our newest rescue. At 6 years old, who could ever change her name from "Echo?"
Oh, and did we mention that we LOVE to cook? Oh yeah, baby!
Built in 1885 by Milton Parker and his wife, Molly, this historic home has stood just a few blocks from Downtown Bryan through much of the community’s storied past. Today, the property serves as a charming bed and breakfast, and a beautifully restored example of Victorian architecture.
